Elisabel Sheehan started Premiere Staffing Services Inc. in 2007 with Ernie Whitney. Since then, the firm has lead the staffing industry in Holyoke, MA, by providing clients with a full range of thorough services.

Elisabel got her start in the industry in 1998. She has served in many positions over the years, including Recruitment Manager and Branch Manager.

As President of Premiere, Elisabel has expanded the firm to three locations, all of which strive to uphold the highest standards of excellence, trust, and integrity.

Ernie Whitney started his career at Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company as a Supervisor. He accepted this position shortly after earning his associate's degree in Accounting from Northampton Commercial College in 1964. Two years later, he was offered an accounting position at Buxton, Inc. in Agawam, MA, and was later promoted to Assistant Credit Manager.

He joined Charpak, Inc. in Leeds, MA, as a Credit Manager in 1971, and was promoted to Purchasing Manager. He enrolled in the evening degree program at American International College to earn a bachelor's degree in business administration. He graduated in 1977.

He joined University Products, In. in 1980, first as Materials Manager, and then as Operations Manager.

In 1990, Ernie started Dependable Business Alternatives, Inc. (DBA), a staffing service in Northampton, MA. He had much success with this company, and he found the work to be the most rewarding of his career. The parent company restructured in 2001, and he began to look for new opportunities in the staffing industry.

Ernie held a Credit Management position with Mestek in Westfield, MA, before opening Premiere Staffing Services with Elisabel Rivas, now Sheehan. He currently applies his many years of professional experience in helping manufacturing and light industrial clients find qualified job candidates and make hiring decisions.
